HOW WE WORK

The Senztek process makes us a little different.  We will work with you to take your idea from concept to manufacture. Ours is a complete end to end service. Once your idea has been tested and prototyped we can then manufacture your new product. And we will do this in a way that supports your journey into your new market.

IDEA TEST

You believe you have a good idea. Let’s test that. Let’s start with a conversation and some good honest feedback. Can what you want to do work? Chances are we can offer some useful comment at this point. We can ask some questions. And then we can perhaps make some suggestions as to how your concept might be more economically and robustly engineered. Your idea – our experience and expertise! Let’s have a workshop!

DESIGN & PROTOTYPE

We will take your concept and turn it into an electronic schematic; a product design. We will then create a printed circuit board and order the components necessary to build a prototype. Then we will power up the prototype and demonstrate that your concept can work.  Great ideas need great designs!

MAKE ROBUST

Prototypes are fun.  This is the first time perhaps that you have seen your great idea actually doing something. It lives for the first time. It might even do something useful.  Now however, we need to make it robust enough to work in real world situations. We have to help the prototype grow up and become a fully functioning working unit. We live in the real world…will your idea survive in this environment?

MICROPROCESSOR DESIGN

Unless your idea is very simple, chances are it will need a microprocessor to make the magic happen. This is our strong suit. This is what we do.  Our team are superbly trained and matched to this task.  The prototype now becomes a very real proposition. It begins to look like a product.  Micro’s rock! 

MAKE PRODUCTION READY

How many do you need?  Just a few.  No problem we can do this with little additional work required.  If, however your product is going to need to be produced in any sort of quantity then we need to work some more magic. We will get the product to a point where it can be manufactured economically, quickly, and robustly.  One or one thousand  – makes no difference to us…we can build what you need!

MANUFACTURE

Parts need to be sourced and stocked.  We are experienced in the procurement of electronic components. Dealing with end of life component notifications and ensuring that replacement parts continue to meet the necessary specifications for the products they are installed into is essential to ensuring that the product we build today is the same product we created years ago.  Making the same great product over and over and over again!

ONGOING SUPPORT

Our job does not end just because a product has been created. Ensuring that the product can continue to be made into the future is essential. And of course, today’s good idea needs to be supported into the future with upgrades, new features, and clever new ways of meeting the customers’ needs.  Our work is never done!
